An optional Q&A discussion will be held 5:30 – 6:00 pm each day.
This program will support local community advocates and civic leaders in discussing climate change, its broad range of impacts, and the spectrum of solutions. The training will also teach participants to speak confidently on the topic and provide opportunities to act and advocate from a North Carolina perspective. It will include information on local climate action in cities across the state as well as on North Carolina's array of climate and energy initiatives.
With this training, and a cohort of like-minded leaders, ambassadors will be able to engage their communities, colleagues, the public, voters, and policymakers to inspire climate solutions that help protect our families and communities now, and ensure a prosperous, just, and secure future. We encourage you to join us.
